Product Effectiveness
Since reading through the Feliway website and seeing many good reviews, I decided to purchase the Feliway Classic cat spray. Majority of the reviews testify to great results from using this product in their home describing a much calmer, happier feline friend. However, there are also a handful of negative reviews claiming that the product did not work at all, or even appeared to make their cats more agitated. Some individuals also described resulting skin irritation to themselves and worried about the effects on their children. I believe more information regarding ingredients and potential irritants is required.
Customer Satisfaction
When I first applied the Feliway Classic cat spray, I was initially very pleased as my cat displayed a similar happiness to the way she reacts to catnip. It also did seem to redirect her sharp claws from destroying my leather couch for a few days. Unfortunately despite recommended application, she eventually returned to her instinctive ways and recommenced these habits.
Final thoughts
Due to the way my cat initially reacted, I am pleased with this product to a point and my journey with Feliway is not over. I just wish these effects would have lasted longer. I would feel more comfortable with trying other products if there was an easy-to-find ingredient list.
