Product overview (with efficacy & Satisfaction):

The Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide cream acts as a moisturiser and is designed to hydrate and protect the skin from signs of ageing. It is intended for twice daily use, at morning and night, applied to clean and dry skin. With it’s concentration of amino acids, growth factors and peptides, Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide cream is supposed to promote collagen production and prevent its breakdown, allowing the skin to maintain that youthful bounce.
With the promise of hydrated, firmer and tighter skin, I decided to give it a try. I have combination skin and that seemed to work okay with this product although it did leave a greasy residue that didn’t seem to go away as the product was absorbed by my skin. I found that the day after use my skin felt smooth enough to describe it as silky. Unfortunately this was short lived with the breakout that ensued after a few days of use. As well as this, I am all for fragrance-free products but the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide cream smelt like chemicals and glue. Putting this on my face, where I could constantly smell it was off-putting.
Although my skin felt very silky, I felt it was expensive considering the obvious downsides. But all in all, I would be open to trying this product again if it were more affordable as long as it doesn’t cause the same type of irritation.

Product/Brand Guarantee: This product includes none of the ‘Suspicious 6’ – drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, chemical screens, essential oils or fragrances/dyes in order to allow the skin to ‘reset’.
